- Move to Google Apps to focus on collaboration and cloud access and storage has had a major impact on collaboration and networking
- No longer trying to scale innovation and replicate practices across 82 schools but instead we are trying to scale our networks so that they can innovate based on their unique challenges and needs Ex. BlackBoard, D2L, Edmodo, Google Sites … all have been effective LMS in different situations across our Board

- Personalized learning – different resources, differentiated tasks and differentiated assessment Competency based – slow in Ontario – how do we eliminate the grade based system and groupings of students based on an arbitrary cohort date of birth? Move to video based instruction and multimedia and multimodal, and not just text
- As students leave our HS environment, they need to ensure smooth transitions in terms of instructional practice and access to digital resources
