The document tells the story of a person who woke up each morning with fewer strands of hair but maintained a positive attitude. On the first day they had three strands and braided their hair, on the second day they had two strands and parted their hair, and on the third day they had one strand and wore their hair in a ponytail. Each day they were happy. On the final day they had no hair left but were happy not to have to fix their hair. The document emphasizes that attitude is everything and encourages being kind, tolerant, accepting of others, living simply, loving generously, and speaking kindly.
2. There once was a person who woke up one morning,
looked in the mirror, noticed and said, "I only have
three strands of hair on my head ...
"Well," the person said, "I think I'll braid my hair today!"
And so it was and the person had a wonderful day.
3. The next day this person woke up ..., again looked in
the mirror, noticed and said, "I only have two strands of
hair on my head ..,"
"Hmmm," the person sighed, "I think I'll part my hair
down the middle today!"
And so it was and the person had a grand day.
4. The following day this same person woke up, again
looked in the mirror, noticed and said, "I only have one
strand of hair left on my head ..,"
"Well," the person then declared, "today I'm going to
wear my hair in a pony tail!"
And so it was and the person, once again, had a fun,
fun day.
5. Once again, the very next day, this same happy person
woke up, looked in the mirror, noticed and said, "I
DON'T HAVE A SINGLE STRAND OF HAIR LEFT ON MY
HEAD ...,"
"YEAYYY!" she exclaimed, "I DON'T HAVE TO FIX MY HAIR
TODAY!" and once again, as usual, this person had
another, beautiful, fun-filled and happy day.
