Unit 4: Issues in our fast changing world 2011 This is a one hour paper on the morning of Friday June 24 th 2011 The total marks available for this paper is 50 The paper will be on one issue only, that of poverty and food supply: health and nutrition around the world, contrasting the poorest people with the wealthiest and considering solutions to this global problem. You will be given a copy of the resource book to read, annotate and keep but you can not bring this one to the exam. There are no spares, do not lose it. A fresh copy of the resource book in full colour will be available for the exam. In the exam, nearly all the questions will be linked directly to the sources . You will be expected, however, to show some wider knowledge about the issue from your own research . There will most likely be a longer, decision making question at the end in which you need to give different options and justify your own opinion.
