Xero Tracking Categories – Xero has updated its API recently meaning we can now offer tracking categories in Synergy Connect for Xero. These work a bit like a Synergy attributes – i.e. you can map data to be used as categories/’attributes’ in Xero.
This update to Synergy Connect for Xero allows architects, engineers and designers to map Synergy Practice Management details (like Project, Project Manager, Sub Project or contact details) to Xero tracking categories and view the tracking category details in the Synergy Connect preview window.

1. Invoices
2. Credit Notes
3. Supplier Expenses
4. Staff Expenses

Map the following Synergy data to a tracking category:
1. Project - Office, Attribute (list or drop-down), or Project Manager
2. Sub Project – Sub Project Manager, Attribute (list or dropdown), Cost Centre, or Discipline.
