4. Tech Hardware Necessities of a 21st Century Classroom I taught in a rural school in a lower socio-economic district. We didn’t have money for much, but I used what I could find to create a 21st century classroom. My Resources: Computer DVD Player (school provided) Speakers (old player from home) (purchased for $10)

5. Along with my computer, speakers, and DVD Player I also collected other items to complete my setup: Projector Wii & Wii Fit (Borrowed from the Office) (Wrote a Grant for both) (Found various cords and adapters in the tech storage room at school)

6. Using the adapters and cords I was able to network my computer, DVD player, and Wii system all into my projector to utilize 3 avenues of source information. Projector DVD Wii Computer

8. Integrating Technology Hardware From my setup additional hardware could be added to increase viability for Distance Ed, Word Processing & Educational Software Including: Document Cams iPads/iPods SmartBoards Netbooks Sound Systems Clickers

15. 21st Century Ed Technology This is one example of how a teacher in a rural, lower socio-economic school with limited educational technology hardware (tvand vcr on a rolling cart) can transform an average classroom into a 21st century educational technology implemented classroomby utilizing the resources available via the LAN at school and then creating a PAN to complete the setup.
