Letter from the President
Almost 10 years ago, GCC began as a company that
provided compression optimization for client owned
and/or rented reciprocating compression. We used
our understanding of current and future operating
condition requirements and applied this information to
addressing facility pressure losses, packaging proper
Hp cylinder sizing, and loading/unloading for the
conditions. Optimization provided our clients with
immediate results of improved production as well as
reduced operating costs. Our proficiency and
success with optimization extended into client
requests to assist in the station or gathering system
expansion of existing facilities. In 2007, GCC began
designing and managing the installation of new
Greenfield compression facilities which has resulted
in the installation of over 50 stations and 250,000 Hp.
We now are not only building new facilities, but also
our gathering and facility optimization capability has
grown to be much more comprehensive to meet the
sophisticated needs of our clients. Today, our
optimization projects have grown from 10 to 30
MMSCFD facilities to systems that generate more
than 600 MMSCFD.

In 2014 GCC now has the capability to take the
project from a study to full project completion,
providing design and engineering, RFQ solutions,
project BOM’s and project management of the work
to completion. With the expansion and combining of
legacy and new gathering systems and the influx of
High BTU rich gas to the mix, the GCC multi-disciplined
approach to optimization is mandatory for
any well-developed gathering, compression and
processing operation. Of course the “back in the day”
approach still works for me and many of our clients’
short term needs.
All the best,
Wayne R. Sartori

Current Projects-Q2 2014
It’s hard to believe that we are into June already, this
year we have several interesting projects.
We are in the final stages of two projects
Operations
The first is a 2760 Hp compressor station, gas
processing facility and fuel gas distribution
system in Utah. The project is very creative from
a cost and operations standpoint providing both
clean dry fuel for field distribution, sales to

market of excess gas, and hydrocarbon
recovery.
Design
The second project is a little out of our normal
scope but very challenging. This project
included the design and engineering of a
portable pumping unit building. The mandate of
the design was that the building needed to meet
all local codes and environmental requirements,
be strong enough to be lifted from a single point,
have no foundation and be deconstructed into 6
pieces and transported to other sites for rapid
erection with no welding required.
Optimization
Two projects that we are in the middle of are
both optimization projects.
The first is a Permian Basin low pressure
associated gas gathering system the included
