![International Forum on<br />Smart Living Summer School Initiatives in Asia<br />January 14, 2011<br />Taipei, Taiwan<br />,[object Object],Agenda and objectives<br /> The aim of this forum is to bring together a number of leading international researchers and scholars working on the themes of smart living education, smart living technology, living lab methodology, interdisciplinary and international collaboration in the realm of smart living, open innovation in smart living, etc. In the forum, participants will share the trend and experiences on smart living education in different leading countries. Besides, local scholars will display the education energy and course scheme of smart living and then analyze the capability and potential for Taiwan to establish Asian Smart Living Summer School. Three main topics are suggested for the forum:<br />International Experiences<br />Current status and future trend on the Smart Living education<br />Core techniques and experience of initiating and developing an international summer school<br />Suggestions to Taiwan in developing Smart Living college education<br />The Role Taiwan Can Play to Host the Asian Smart Living Summer School<br />The Action Plans of Asian Smart Living Summer School：<br />How to frame suitable organization and design appropriate institutions of the Summer School.<br />Identify relevant themes and courses: the key contents of smart living education in Asia<br />Recruit Strategies for Summer School: teachers and students<br />The possible funding sources for Summer School<br />Venue: SonShan Tobacco Plant Culture Park - Taiwan Design Center Conference Hall (No.133, Guangfu S.
