Texas STaR Chart STaR is the acronym for school technology and readiness mandated by the 76th Legislature Provides an online resource for assessment of the campus and district integration of technology into all phases of the curriculum All districts, campuses, and teachers are required to complete the STaR chart annually The use of technology is assessed across the board K-12 The STaR chart helps determine alignment with the States Long Range Plan for Technology The STaR chart helps determine proper resource allocation and planning in regards to the use of technology within a district, campus and school. 3
