      Thinking of
getting out more?
     Think UHI.
The Highlands and Islands of Scotland
are a natural playground for outdoor
       enthusiasts and adrenalin-junkies. The
       region contains the highest mountains
and the deepest lochs in Britain. In summer
you can walk, climb, mountain bike, canoe,
or horse-ride your way through fabulous
country. In winter you can ski, snowboard
or ice-climb at one of the area’s ski resorts.

If high-energy activities are not your thing,
you might enjoy instead the peace, drama
and beauty of the region’s long sandy
beaches, dramatic cliff walks and ancient
pine forests, and if you want company our
student societies can help you get out there
       with like-minded people.
