What is glycerine transparent soap?
Transparent soaps are classified as a specialty product. They are also called glycerine soaps due to
the incorporation of glycerine to confer transparency, skin conditioning, help in the soap making
process and enhance the appearance of the product. (MPOB ISSN 1511-7871 TT NO.357 JUNE 2007)
For opaque glycerine soap base, we formulate it with titanium dioxide known as natural occurring
mineral to produce superb whiteness appearance.
How we incorporate the palm oil derived ingredients into our glycerine soap base products?
Our country, Malaysia is one of the largest producers of palm oil in the world.
Palm oil is a well known source of fatty acids that contributes to efficient cleaning action, good
solubility and foam ability. We utilize this renewable and biodegradable resource in making our
products. We use the glycerine (palm oil by product) and fatty acids (palm oil derived) as our main
ingredients in making transparent soap base. The ingredients include glycerine and fatty acids used
in our products are HALAL or KOSHER certified; we have the non-animal derivative declaration. We
always focus in producing “Go-Green and Environmental Friendly” products.
