TIPS FOR FOSTERING DISCUSSION
As part of their long-standing effort to
keep the site authentic and full of
meaningful interactions, YouTube have
begun periodically auditing the views a
video has received. While in the past
they would scan views for spam
immediately after they occurred,
starting 4th Feb they will periodically
validate the video’s view count,
removing fraudulent views as new
evidence comes to light. It is not
expected that the approach will affect
more than a minuscule fraction of
videos on YouTube, but it is crucial in
improving the accuracy of view counts
and maintaining trust in fans and

While the Big Game champions may

chosen by viewers on YouTube.
Starting today you’ll see some changes
to make it easier to find what you want
to watch on YouTube and collect
playlists to watch again and again.
Viewers casted their votes for their
favorite game day commercials on
YouTube Ad Blitz 2014. After a week of
intense competition, YouTube crunched
the numbers and are ready to name the
victors.
