III. KEY CONCEPT:
According to Edward Taylor, culture id includes knowledge, beliefs,
arts, law, morals, customs, and any other capabilities and habits acquired
by a person as a member of society. Culture consists of the patterned
repetitive ways of thinking, feeling, and acting that are the characteristics
of the members of the popular society or segment of society. It is also a
pattern of behavior that is being used by the people who believe with this.
It is adaptive, can be learned, can be change and share and can be
transfer. It can affect one’s personality, one’s beliefs and the society.
IV. PARTICIPATION IN DISCUSSION:
I have learned culture and its characteristics--That they are
different elements of culture and how it affects the people and its society,
how it develops a certain personality like habits, physically and socially,
attitude, etc., the differences between real and ideal culture, dominant
ideology and ideology, aspects of cultural variation and attitude towards
cultural variation.
