Mother Teresa was born in 1910 in Skopje, Macedonia and died in 1997 in Calcutta, India. She founded the Missionaries of Charity and had over 4,500 sisters helping the poor and sick in Calcutta. She dedicated her life to living among and serving the poor by establishing hospices and homes for those without basic needs.
