- 3. Local Interest and Resource We first went to a wind course at a renewable energy conference in New York. Then we got some hands on with Volvo.

- 30 solar panels (165 watts each) rated at 5 kwatt/hour. (Sunny day will produce about 30 kilowatt hours) This is grid tied and feeds the generated power directly into the power grid.
- Inverter (DC to AC power) and meter for monitoring production.
- Battery storage compartment for 24 volts from hybrid system. (Used for external lighting of alternative energy pad)
