Solving Polynomial Equations in Factored Form Algebra 1 10.4 Using the Zero-Product Property
A polynomial is in factored form if it is written as the product of two or more linear factors.
A polynomial is in factored form if it is written as the product of two or more linear factors. A linear factor has x to the power of one.
The zero-product property states: If ab = 0, then a = 0 or b = 0.

To graph an equation in factored form: Solve the equation to find the x-intercepts.
To graph an equation in factored form: Solve the equation to find the x-intercepts. Find the coordinates of the vertex. Remember x = -b/2a, plug in to find y.
