come back again.
• If there isn’t anything new when users come
back, they may not come back again.
• More content helps keep traffic flowing &
increase your page rank.

they scan

find the information quickly
• Break apart content with easier digestible
paragraphs
• Content should guide users through the page
• Keep content simple & concise as possible

• Detailed explanations are great; Concise
bullet-points are better
• Always Be Closing; Consistently direct

• Most systems will charge a fee, however it's
value is worth it
• Conversely, your requirements should be well
researched for your business needs. Any rush
attempts to 'put something up' will result in
costly expenses over time.

& monochromatic designs
• It'll make for a more lasting design & easier
for the user to visually navigate around
• Less is more; Do not fluff your content if
you don’t have it

• Don’t add ‘fancy’ Ajax or Flash effects
because you can add the plugin
• Typography / Portability / Speed /
Content / Accessibility are all important

your voice heard with quality content; not a
carbon copy of others
• Create a site map to help users & search engine
bots find pages on your website
• W3C Web standards and Accessibility are great!
