"Svitoch" - the oldest confectionery company in Ukraine. And although
the brand "Svitoch" appeared only in the Soviet period, the company
leads its history from the distant 1882. Since the 60s of the last century
the word "Svitoch" has gradually become a sign of quality and long
chocolate tradition of Lviv for the entire population of the Soviet Union.
"SVITOCH“ HISTORY
"Svitoch" history started back in 1882 in Lviv, which at one time
was called the chocolate capital of Europe. In 1998, the factory
"Svitoch" became part of Nestle SA, such cooperation has given
"Svitoch" new opportunities. Today "Svitoch" - a modern high-
tech, dynamically developing corporation. In 2010, primarily due
to innovative solutions range of confectionery was expanded
and presented trademarks of Nestlé and "Svitoch." Nestlé
confectionery business in Ukraine has become the fastest
growing Nestlé confectionery business in Europe, an increase of
33% compared with 2009.
IN THE FACTORY THERE ARE PRODUCTION LINES FOR WAFERS,
CHOCOLATE BARS AND CANDY, A BRAND NEW AUTOMATED
PRODUCTION FOR THE PREPARATION OF CHOCOLATE MASSES.
• In late 2009, he was commissioned a new line of sticks coffee
Nescafe. Successful implementation of this project marked the
transition "Svitoch" to a new level: from the local candy factory to
the regional production center of Nestlé in such business areas
as confectionery and coffee.
• In 2012, "Svitoch" resumed production of chocolate wafer candy
"Gulliver" and offered Ukrainian consumers delicious new items -
Waffles "Artek" in the new taste variations and chocolate bars
with nuts and raisins.
• In 2012, "Svitoch" celebrated a double anniversary - the 130th
anniversary of the establishment of production and the 50th

In December 1994, Societe pour l 'Exportation des Produits Nestlé SA.
has opened its representative office in Kiev, and since then has been
actively marketing and advertising support of such world famous
brands like Nescafé, Nesquik, Maggi, Nuts, Friskies and baby food
Nestlé.
Today, Nestlé is one of the strongest companies in Ukraine in the field
of food products, as well as the leader of Ukrainian market of coffee.
The company is increasing its presence in the market of chocolate
products and culinary products. First of all Nestlé strengthens its
position and expands its presence in Ukraine by investing in local
production and industrial infrastructure, active promotion of trade
marks, as well as the continuous expansion and development of the
national sales network.
• In 1998, Nestlé acquired a controlling stake of confectionery
factory "Svitoch" in Lviv, which produces chocolate and other
confectionery products. Since then, the company has made and
continues to make large investments in technical equipment and
re-equipment of industrial factory.
The credo of Nestlé - to make life better by offering consumers
only high-quality and healthy products.
