             -   To further develop the clinical skills for delivering optometric care to patients
                 requiring complex and complicated contact lens care and binocular vision
                 investigation and management of more complex cases including comitant and
                 incomitant squints

             Hasil Pembelajaran

             Upon completion of this module the student will have acquired:
   11.
             1. Understanding and knowledge of the care of more complex and complicated
                contact lens cases within both optometric and hospital settings.
             2. skills required in examination , prescribing and fitting of patients requiring
                contact lenses of more complex design and of care regimes associated with
                such lens modalities.
             3. Ability to run and administer contact lens inventory with specific knowledge
                of acquiring the lenses , verifying and storing the lenses within optometric
                settings
             4. understanding and knowledge of the care of more complex binocular vision
                patients especially those pediatrics ones presenting with squints both within
                primary optometric settings and within a hospital eye department.
             5. Skills required in the comprehensive investigation , ophthalmologic
                consultation and treatment (orthoptics/vision therapy) of patients with
                complex binocular vision disorders , inclusive of non-strabismic and
                strabismic (comitant and incomitant) cases

             Sinopsis Mata Pelajaran
   12.
             -    This is an entirely clinical module involving direct clinical care of patients
                  needing specialized contact lens fitting and those needing comprehensive
                  orthoptics investigation and vision therapy , which may include comitant and
                  incomitant squints, Independent diagnosis management and treatment of
                  these patients will be emphasized students will examine patients in the
                  college specialty Care Clinics and participate in clinical discussions on cases
                  seen.
