2. Question 1
This result shows that the
gender split between the two
sexes is fairly even and I
should make my newspaper
with a unisex theme in mind
3. Question 2
Here we see that my
paper should be aimed
at a primarily younger
audience of the college
due to the majority of
those who answered
the survey being 16
years old
4. Question 3
This answer clearly
shows a positive
response to whether
the students would
like a paper, this is
essential as as it
would be pointless
making a paper for
those who didn’t want
to read it.
5. Question 4
It is very important
for the students to
answer often, very
often or sometimes
in this question as
then they would not
want to buy the
paper every week
and would therefore
mean there are no
continuous sales.
6. Question 5
Here ius an example of
where I needed to alter
my ideas, as we are
moving very rapidly into
the digital age, that’s
what the audience
demand, so I will
include a website for
my newspaper.
7. Question 6 & 7
I will include a story
about a recent music
event and a massive
television interest as this
is what the response from
my survey shows. The
other response was
health and social care, so
it may be important to
include articles based
about the various
subjects at college.
8. Question 8
We see here that the
audience has gone for a
mix between a broadsheet
and tabloid style of paper,
this will mean that I will
then have to mix the two
styles in order to satisfy
the audience.
9. Question 9
This shows the
audience and
readership of my
paper will be very
interested about the
world around them,
and gives me a chance
to include a wider
variety of news stories
than if it was just
about college news.
