My Best Work in Analytics – My Current Project
Fund investors try to find a portfolio that maximizes returns. My work is about
finding the portfolio that has optimum combination of returns and Value at Risk
(VAR). This project is being done because a really good portfolio must perform well
not only in long run (the red line) but also in short run (like the blue line).
Techniques I am using: Exponentially Weighted Moving Averages, Variance-
Covariance and Monte Carlo simulation methods, Chi-square testing
Software environment: R
