Safety of women is of utmost importance in our society, be it personal space or professionalspace. To ensure their safety, it is vital to make them aware of their vulnerability to sexualharassment in their surroundings. Sexual Harassment at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 has beenframed and put to operations on 9th December, 2013 to safeguard women at workplace. However, a large chunk of Government and private workforce is still in the dark about theprovisions and effectiveness of the statute. It is more likely that when the problem is notaddressed, the harassment will get worse resulting in attrition of women workforce and manyother negative impacts. There have also been scenarios where despite men being innocent, have been booked underPOSH by women just to satisfy of their personal vendetta. IC Members should be given a thoroughunderstanding of redressal process and hence theyshould be well equipped with the knowledge of the said law.

Chapter 1 What do the authors mean by “sexual intelligence”? Be sure to discuss the four components as defined in the text. How do medical professionals differ from psychologists in their views of sexual behavior? How can each perspective better inform the other? How do cultures develop beliefs/attitudes about sex that are fundamentally contradictory to one another? Consider, for example, the importance some cultures give to female virginity and the ways in which those cultures seek to control the sexual behavior of unmarried females. What importance do the historical themes of sex for procreation and male/female gender roles have today? What major scientific development has helped separate sexual pleasure from reproduction? How have mass media reflected and influenced sexual norms? How have recent advances in technology influenced sexual practice? What effects do social media, cell phones, and Internet pornography have on sexual views and behavior? Chapter 2 What are the major goals of sexology? What are the advantages and disadvantages of conducting sex research on the Internet? Be sure to discuss volunteer bias, demographics of the population sample, cost and effectiveness of online surveys, response rate, and any other relevant issues. Can qualitative studies determine cause-and-effect relationships? Why or why not? Chapter 3 What role, if any, do media (including pornography) play in shaping a woman’s self-image regarding the appearance of her genitals? Be sure to discuss the relatively new cultural phenomenon of shaving or waxing one’s pubic region and/or genital piercings. Discuss the factors that may inform a woman’s decision to (1) undergo a breast enhancement surgery and (2) undergo vaginoplasty or other cosmetic genital surgery. Describe the issues involved in the practice of female genital cutting. Suppose you were a member of a culture that expected girls to undergo this procedure. Would you want your daughter to undergo cutting? Why or why not? Should people be concerned with trying to find the G-spot? What would be the advantages and disadvantages of doing so? What if they have tried to find the G-spot and cannot? What issues would be important for a group leader to address in a support group for women who had just had a mastectomy? How soon before or after surgery should this support begin? Display pictures of a radical mastectomy and ask men and women to report their reactions. How would women feel if they looked like this? Would men feel attracted to a woman or their partner if she looked like this? What are the pros and cons to hormone replacement therapy? How has the media contributed to women’s beliefs about the need for hormone replacement therapy? Compare advertisements for hormone replacement therapy to those for PMS alleviation or menstrual symptoms. Chapter 4 Males tend to be more comfortable with their genitals than females are with their genitals. This in part accounts for the greater rat.

L., Professional writing for social work practice, Second Edition (Vol. Second edition). Springer Publishing Company. Chapter 7: Effective Intake Interviewing SkillsChapter Introduction · Chapter Seven addresses Social Work Case Management Standard 5, Assessment. · Chapter Seven addresses Human Service–Certified Board Practitioner Competency 2, Interviewing and Intervention Skills. For clients, like those at Adult Community Support, or if someone wants to go into counseling services, there is a number to call that’s advertised on the website. If people drop in and want to get engaged in services, we will direct them through the intake line. They will call the intake line and describe what’s going on for them. The intake specialist will gather some initial information about eligibility through Medicare, Medicaid, those sorts of things. Then, we will assign that person to a case manager who is capable of doing intakes. From Ellen Carruth, 2012, text from unpublished interview. Used with permission . This chapter focuses on effective interviewing in case management: the attitudes and characteristics of interviewers, the skills that make them effective interviewers, how these skills are used in structured interviews, and the pitfalls to avoid when interviewing. For each section of the chapter, you should be able to accomplish the following objectives. Attitudes and Characteristics of Interviewers · List two reasons why the attitudes and characteristics of the case manager are important to the interview process. · Describe four populations of clients that may require the case manager’s approach to be culturally sensitive. · Name five characteristics that make a good interview. · Describe a physical space that encourages positive interactions between the client and the case manager. · List barriers that discourage a positive interview experience.Essential Communication Skills · List the essential communication skills that contribute to effective interviewing. · List three interviewing skills. · Support the importance of listening as an important interviewing skill. · Offer a rationale for questioning as an art. · Write a dialogue illustrating responses that a case manager might use in an intake interview.Interviewing Pitfalls · Name four interviewing pitfalls. · Describe each of these pitfalls.7-1Introduction Interviewing is described in Assessment Phase of Case Management as directed conversation or professional conversation. Many helpers consider it an art as well as a skilled technique that can be improved with practice. In case management, the intake interview is a starting point for providing help. Its main purpose is to obtain an understanding of the problem, the situation, and the applicant. A clear stateme ...

Question #1: Please choose ONE of the following to make an original response. Focus on quality, CRITICAL THINKING, sharing YOUR perspectives/ideas with a little bit of support for your assertions. Violence and Women : Violence against females is a worldwide issue. What types of gender roles, cultural beliefs, political systems, and SOCIALIZATIONS influence and tolerate violence against women? Think deeply; what types of things are said or behaviors condoned or tolerated that cause, promote, or sustain violence against women? Provide support. Violence and Men: Violence against men, between men, and by men is a worldwide issue (no male bashing here, just going by prevalence rates). What types of gender roles, cultural beliefs, political systems, socialization processes, impact violence for men? Specifically, what do we say and do as a culture (not necessary you) to teach, condone, sustain certain masculine characteristics that could lead to violence? What can be done to help counteract unhealthy aspects of socialization? Pay attention to why you think women may have less rates of violence due to psychological or socialization processes. Violence against non-binary (including but not limited to binary transgender, non-binary transgender, non-binary in general, agender, bigender, gender fluid). What types of gender expected roles, cultural beliefs, socialization processes, attitudes, political systems, religious systems, and misinformation/myths contribute to violence towards non-binary persons? How does biopsychosocial scientific evidence challenge misconceptions? Include in your critical thought important measures needed to reduce violence. Helping and Gender: Discuss whether or not you see gender differences in helping behaviors of males vs. females. Be specific. Some examples: Are men more kind or females? How about instrumental vs. communicative style? Which gender might be rewarded more for specific helping behaviors: do we reward men for doing the dishes than women? Do we say men are instrumental ignoring the vast amount of "doing to show love" by women? Do we praise women for being more communicative in helping others while shaming men for having male to male "heart to hearts talks?" Does what we do, along gender lines, in terms of helping on a daily basis show a societal value and expectation that is gender influenced? Ex: Helping by caring for others, helping by protecting, helping by serving in different roles, help by risking life? Self Efficacy : Elaborate on the concepts of self-efficacy and gender. What aspects of gender identity or socialization may impact a person's sense of confidence, ability, and mastery? Elaborate and provide examples. Sexuality as vulnerability: Compare and contrast the concept of sexuality as a weakness/vulnerability between males, females, non-binary and those with non-hetero attractions. Provide some specific examples and let me see your critical thinking. Are male, female, and/or no.

I NEED THIS TODAY Please no plagiarism and make sure you are able to access all resources on your own before you bid. Main references come from Murray, C., Pope, A., & Willis, B. (2017) and/or American Psychological Association (2014). You need to have scholarly support for any claim of fact or recommendation regarding treatment. Please respond to all 3 of my classmates with references separately. You need to have scholarly support for any claim of fact or recommendation like peer-reviewed, professional scholarly journals. I need this completed by 05/09/2020 at 8pm. Expectation: Responses to peers. Note that this is measured by both the quantity and quality of your posts. Does your post contribute to continuing the discussion? Are your ideas supported with citations from the learning resources and other scholarly sources? Note, that although it is often helpful and important to provide one or two sentence responses thanking somebody or supporting them or commiserating with them, those types of responses do not always further the discussion as much as they check in with the author. Such responses are appropriate and encouraged; however, they should be considered supplemental to more substantive responses, not sufficient by themselves. Read a your colleagues' postings. Respond to your colleagues' postings. Respond in one or more of the following ways: · Ask a probing question. · Share an insight gained from having read your colleague's posting. · Offer and support an opinion. · Validate an idea with your own experience. · Make a suggestion. · Expand on your colleague's posting. 1. Classmate (C. Rod) Quote Applied to Human Sexuality "All happy families are alike, every unhappy family is unhappy in its way." Whoa, that is quite a statement, insightful, and makes you ponder. I believe this quote can be related to sexuality. People compare themselves to one another, their bodies, accomplishments, grades, and even their sex life. Girlfriends and Bros have their conversations, " I wish my girl did that" or " Wow, your man is so romantic, I never get that treatment." My administrative supervisor shared with us one day that the entire 42 years of marriage, she never experienced an orgasm. He did what he had to do, rolled over and went to sleep. She explained that back then (she is 65), that is the way it was. My supervisor never experienced an orgasm from her husband, which caused her to be dissatisfied with her sex life. However, another female could have different reasons for not being satisfied with hers. Path to Positive Sexuality Sexuality is important to our lives, it is one of the ways we experience physical pleasure but also good for our overall health and wellbeing (Murray, Pope & Willis, 2017). People will have different perspectives on what is satisfying; that is why there are fetishes and different sexual positions. I am sure some bitter housewives or husbands sit at home with a curiosity of unknown pleasure that they ...

6 PEER RESPONSES DUE IN 6 HOURS.. EACH SET OF 2 HAS ITS OWN INSTRUCTIONS Respond to at least two of your classmates KORIE'S POST: I am going to be using my current job as a scenario. I currently work with an orthopedic, neurologist, and Interventional pain management doctor. We do send our patients out if our doctors can not fully treat the patient to there full capacity. I have a patient that had gotten into a horrible car accident that she and her husband were hospitalized for a month from. They were driving back to FL from TX and another car went to switch lanes and he saw the car and with a quick reaction he switched lanes and with that they got dragged 10 feet under a semi truck. They had lots of neck and back pains, but mostly PTSD really badly. I go in and I get the history and vitals and go over a bunch of things with the patient before the Dr goes in. I will present the case to the Dr and then they go in to see the patient. Once, the Dr comes out he will tell me what the plan is with the patient so then I can get them set up with all orders. When I had presented this case with the Dr, I told them all that they will need to see a Physc due to the severity of the PTSD. The Dr did come out of the room and did tell me that he is going to be sending the patients to see a Physc as even with his neurologist skills this PTSD is out of his hands. Our, office does not do deep PTSD as this patient does need to have. We also sent the patient to see a counselor as well to have someone else to speak to regarding this accident. Some people once they are in an accident they do get very freaked out and very gittery to drive again, some have such issues that they get panic attacks or black out when in the car just as a passenger. We had to send this patient out as our office does not handle such cases as deep with PTSD as this case was. BROOKE'S POST: The organization I work for now has many different departments. While we all work in public health, we all do different things. We all serve the same population but we all target different individuals in that population. I currently work in the education department which means, I cannot help an individual that comes in and needs help in the health insurance department. What I can do is refer that person out to the person in charge of that. My current workplace may not fit into this scenario as much as mental health and/or health professionals. Scenario: Adult male comes in to the VA clinic for his weekly marriage counseling appoint with his clinical social worker. Husband and Wife have been attending weekly cognitive behavior therapy marriage counseling for the last 4 months with no notable change in marriage or attitudes in regards to marriage. The couple has 3 children, a mix of yours, mine, and ours. Wife moved out of the couples home with the children for the last 9 months. The first appointment the couple had was separate appointments for each. It is clear t.
