3. The First Commandment is that God is One
John 6:38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own
will, but the will of him that sent me One of the scribes once
asked Jesus (pbuh) as to which was the first commandment of
all, to which Jesus (pbuh) merely repeated what Moses (pbuh)
had said earlier:
"Shama Israelu Adonai Ila Hayno Adonai Ikhad."
"Shama Israelu Adonai Ila Hayno Adna Ikhad".
"I, even I, am the Lord; and beside me there is no saviour."
{Isaiah 43:11and similar in 45.5, 46.9} "Thou shalt have no
other gods before me."
"Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any
likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the
earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:" Thou
shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them."{Exodus
20:3-5]:"Thou shalt have none other gods before me."
01
This is a Hebrew quotation, which means:
“Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord." [Mark
12:29] "Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord"[
Deut 6:4]
4. "Thou shalt not make thee any graven image, or any likeness of
anything that is in heaven above, or that in the earth beneath, or
that is in the water beneath the earth." "Thou shalt not bow down
thyself unto them, nor serve them; "[Deut 5:7-9]
The Fulfillment of the Law -Matthew 5:17-20
17
“Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the
18
Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.
For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the
smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means
19
disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished.
Therefore anyone who sets aside one of the least of these
commands and teaches others accordingly will be called least
in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches
these commands will be called great in the kingdom of
20
heaven. For I tell you that unless your righteousness
surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law,
you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven.
Romans 3:31 Do we, then, nullify the law by this faith? Not at
all! Rather, we uphold the law. John6:38For I came down from
heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.

Matthew 15:24 He answered, "I was sent only to the lost sheep
of Israel."During his time there is not a single Non Jew who
converted from their Faith -
Mark14:38 Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the
spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak-(I give below the
method how Jesus and the Prophets prayed as per Holy Bible)
Luke 11:1 And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain
place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord,
teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples.

Joshua 7:6 ..and Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did
worship, Joshua 5:14 …I fell upon my face, and cried, and said,
Ah Lord God… Ezekiel 19:8
7. David arose out of a place toward the south and fell on his face to
the Samuel 20:41 In the time of Neherniahb the forms of worship
are clearly described (Jesus) Going a little farther, he fell with his
face to the ground and prayed Matthew 26:39 (Solomon s
time)They knelt on the pavement with their faces to the ground,
they worshiped 2 Chronichles7:3 Fell before the throne on their
faces and worshiped God Revelation 7:11 Manoah and his
wife fell with their faces to the ground Judges 13:20
Praying towards Jerusalem
(Muslims when they migrated to Medina, God asked them to
pray towards the Temple in Jerusalem.) Medina had many Jews
living there awaiting “that Prophet” Daniel 6:10. Now when
Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house;
and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem,
he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and
gave thanks before his God, as he did afore time. Psalm 5:7. But
as for me, I will come into thy house in the multitude of thy
mercy; and in thy fear will I worship toward thy holy temple.

8. Greeting
Luke 24:36 Jesus himself stood in the midst of them and saith
unto them. Peace be unto you. John 20:2 Then said Jesus to them
again Peace be unto you. In Arabic it is assalamu alaikum
(Muslims pray 5 Times early morning, noon time, and
after sunrise)
Psalm 55:17. Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and
cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice.
Author's Note The author is a basic practicing muslim. We are
informed in the Holy Quran
Say: “O people Of the Book! Come To common terms As
between us and you: (Al Quran 3:64)
Thus the first term is :-Belief in One God, then His Books, His
Angels, His Prophets, Day of Judgement, Paradise and Hell etc
It is a fact that the Original Gospel as preached by Jesus(pbuh)
was never taken down until a few hundred years of his Preaching.
What is available is a copy, of a copy ,of a copy, of a copy, of a
copy, of a copy, thus thousands of similarities would have got
washed away by translations or eroded by the scribes own
interpretation and perhaps deletions too..
06
9. Quran is still preserved in its original form without a change(God
promises in the Quran that He will protect IT). Further Arabic is a
living language , with over 25 million Christians who are Arabs,
thus they could testify its accuracy and its contents, despite them
being from a different Faith
[We have sent down the Reminder, and We will preserve it.]
(Quran 15: 9), [Will they not ponder the Qur'an? If it had
been from other than Allah, they would have found many
inconsistencies in it.] (Quran 4: 82) The word Allah is also used
in the Arabic Bible to denote the One God, the Creator of all that
exists.
Jesus gives some pointers in Matthew six on what to pray for.
The list he gives is often called the Lord's Prayer, but we know
that this was not meant as a prayer text as such, since it is not
standardised in the Gospels, but appears in variants. The Psalms
were the prayer hymns of the ancient Israelites as well as the
early Christians, and a comparison of the words of Islamic prayer
with Psalm portions will show them virtually identical.
07
10. 08
Here are the basic words of Islamic prayer, mostly from the first
chapter of the Qur'an with Biblical references which show
similar expressions. Allahu akbar! The Lord be magnified!
(Ps.35:27; 48:1; 147:5). I begin in the name of God, the
Beneficent, the Merciful. (Ps.148:8). All praise is God's (Ps.9:1)
Lord of the Worlds (Ps.90:2; 10:16). The Beneficent, the
Merciful (Ps.25:6). The Master of the Day of Judgement
(Ps.50:6). Thee alone do we worship, of Thee alone do we seek
help (Ps.30:8). Guide us on the right path (Ps.27:11; 25:4). The
path of those upon whom Thou hast bestowed Thy bounties
(Ps.31:19). Not the path of those on whom fell Thy wrath nor of
those gone astray (Ps.28:3). Glory to God in the highest and
praise to Him! (Luke 2:14).
