In an anthropologic survey, IQ assessment were taken to the CEOs of
global 500 biggest companies. The top 100 CEO are no distinct from
others in IQ or knowledge, but have higher ranking in passion.
It’s proved in psychology that high IQ doesn’t equal to high creativity.
A person with moderate IQ, but strong self-motivation and passion,
may have great creativity.
Bill Gates passion for software is what really drove the company to
success.
Bill Gates has immense passion for software. When he was admitted in
Lakeside School he got hooked to the computer there and surpassed the
knowledge of his teacher within a week. The passion makes he wrote his
first program at the age of thirteen.
Bill Gates passion was software development and do something new and
unique in this field. His passion was like that saint who forgets the family,
the society and the world in his pursuit to make a link with God. That is the
big secret of his success.

You have to have an incredible thirst for
knowledge. Learn from the work you do, from
the people you admire. Learn by hurting and
failing and don't take things at face value. Dig
deep to discover the truth for yourself. I've made
it a point to learn about the world.

Even though Mr. Li Ka-shing could not continue his
formal education, he had never given up his quest for
new knowledge. He managed to find time for selfstudy.
