1. I have completed 3 quarter Clinical Pastoral Education at Pomona Valley
Hospital from October-December,2003 under Rev. Judy Roska until I
was deployed by Operation Iraqi Freedom: 3 month full-time supervised
training. Later, I have returned to the same hospital for 1 unit C.P.E.
training with College of Pastoral and Supervision and Psychotherapy
(CPSP) under Robert Mackay, from Sept-Oct,2013 for one month, but
withdrew when I found out the said program might not be recognized by
ACPE, Inc., the national H.Q. of CPE accreditation.
2. My Ph.D. in Pastoral Psychology from Graduate Theological Foundation
(transcript) recognized by V.A. to train chaplains, beyond graduation from
Sonoma State University (MA in Psychology),is to be substituted for a
one-year full-time supervised CPE training.

16/2003, 80 hours, at Ft. Sam Houston, TX. Two-week course
provides chaplains interactive workshops to develop sermons for
clinical settings. Presentation is followed by small group interaction.
Focus is also on how one preaches, style, continuity,techniques for
delivery and audience characteristics. It produces competent chaplains
capable of utilizing homiletic techniques for the medical environment
in the care of medical staff, patients, and the community.
m. Medical Ministry Critical Event Management Course,Course #: 6H-

Certifying training in some aspect of Critical Event Management
Course. The training particularly stresses through multi-media and
intense group exercises, the practicalities of mobilizing a team,
delineating team responsibilities,and learning such skills as Group
Crisis Intervention.Training gives national certification when, in
concert with similarly trained colleagues, assists affected people to
cope with immediate emotional reactions when a crisis strikes their
community,and to plan for longer-term emotional support.
