8. Elements of an electronic spreadsheet Is a grid of rows and columns Rows are numbered 1 to 1,048,576 The columns are identified by letters, from A to Z , then AA to AZ, from BA to BZ, etc. There are 16,384 columns

12. In Excel… A worksheet shows one cell outlined in a thick black border This is known as the active cell When you want to enter data in a particular cell, you must make the cell the active cell
