My first podcast experience

1. How I made my Podcast Trials and Tribulations By Yvette Rubio

2. First I wrote the script. I chose something light. Yvette’s First Podcast: The Occupational Hazards of Online Instructing

4. Then I uploaded Audacity. That was easy. www.audacity.com Then I practiced recording myself a few times in Audacity until I found a recording I liked. Oh, I improvised a lot on the script.

6. I knew I wanted music, so I uploaded CCMixter. I also wanted Classical music. I knew this was public domain so I simply googled the music I wanted and downloaded a mpeg of that symphony.

8. Then I went back to Audacity to find out how to mix music. I found the manual confusing.

10. So I simply experimented. Then I figured out through trial and error how to mix the music, and fade it in and out.

12. Next, I uploaded Ourmedia so I could make the file available to my fellow students in the course. I was successful at uploading Ourmedia, but I failed at uploading this file. I tried and tried, and I tried.

14. Then Bob came to the rescue and uploaded my file for me.

16. There were more tribulation than trials. But I still need to figure out how to upload my podcasts!
