- I’m Yum, I’m a filmmaker, I’m a sister, I’m a feisty fucker and I love technology and the way it brings people together… for me being online is actually being with people. I wont be telling you anything that you cant find online. I’m def not telling you I’m an expert and to do what I do. This session is about sharing stuff, I am foremost a seeker. There are bigger experts in the room today e.g. Louise & instagram, those on blogger etc… So there will be time to talk to each-other today. Because we are all the expert on ourselves…
- See your print-out, make sure you fill in the extra details of people overleaf.
- You have to be a liker to get likes, you have to share to be shared, you have to connect to get connected – you can do this online. Images are content royalty, I got more hits and shares on this image than if I had just written I’d met him. However I am a photographer so it made sense for me. I also have a large family a large competitive family, so this pic was as much about that…
- Be that person online that you are face to face. Talk to each-other, share your knowledge, your skill, your mistakes. Be positive (like) and also be constructive, its ok to say I reckon you may have done better if… Connect by listening and by asking questions….

- A big global who doesn’t, check the huge numbers, lack of interaction, use of the royal ‘our’, lack of awareness of people.
- Tegan ran a GoGo dancing class… she stopped… she announced it, and everything went dark… life got in the way, she was honest
- Know yourself (aims, goals, biz plan); Know your tribe (the people who can advise you, show you, listen to you); Know your audience (where are they, measure, talk to them)… all this will add your numbers, but more important is influence… active, sharing, liking, talking, showing, buying, commissioning, hooking you up… you need influencers (super fans) to be able to take advantage of the ripples they make.
