Internet Explorer's market share decreased in 2008 while Firefox, Safari, and Chrome all increased. Specifically, Internet Explorer fell to 68.15% with decreases in IE7 and IE6 but a slight rise in IE8, while Firefox rose to 21.34% mainly due to an increase in Firefox3 and slight drop in Firefox2. Safari increased to 7.93% and Chrome rose to 1.04%, with Opera staying at 0.71%.
