• A longtime sales executive with extensive experience
in the nutrition sector, Zariq Siddiqui currently
works as a senior manager of sales operations and
strategy with Abbott Laboratories in Chicago. Aside
from his professional work, Zariq Siddiqui supports
the efforts of nonprofit organizations such as Heifer
International. An international charitable
organization dedicated to ending world hunger and
poverty, Heifer International relies heavily upon the
generous gifts it receives from donors across the
globe.

3. Heifer International
• In keeping with its original mission, Heifer
International uses sustainable gifts to provide
families with animals such as goats, chickens, cows,
honeybees, water buffalo, and many more. Gifts also
support a broad range of women’s empowerment
programs that support gender equality training and
women’s groups. Heifer International also uses gifts
to cover basic needs, providing items such as clean
water and irrigation pumps and stoves for a whole
village. Sponsors can also choose to provide gifts on
holidays such as Christmas, Easter, Valentine’s Day,
and Mother’s or Father’s Day.
