AfricanAmericans. “

2. AfricanAmerican culture is overly sexual
3. AfricanAmerican culture is crassly materialistic
VIOLENCE
• Racist ideology:
• The belief that African Americans are prone to
violence.
• In regards to Gangsta rap is I huge part of their
lyrics.
• Take 50 Cents song Many Men his opening
verse is
• All throughout gangsta rap whether its their
lyrics, music videos or solely how the rapper
portrays their image it all revolves around
violence.
• With this being said they are now conveying a
false image of African American culture.
“Many men, wish death upon me
Blood in my eye dog and I can't see
I'm trying to be what I'm destined to be
And niggaz trying to take my life away
I put a hole in nigger for fuckingi with me
My back on the wall, now you gon' see
Better watch how you talk, when you talk about me
'Cause I'll come and take your life away”
SEXUAL ASSUMPTION
• In the majority of rap songs and videos there’s always a portion that is
about Sex.Whether they are degrading woman by calling them ho’s or
being the center of attention surrounded by women (most cases the
women are barely dressed)
• There is now this image of oversexualization of the African American
culture and how they disrespect and treat their women.Which makes
it easier for the rest of us to take this view on sexual degradation.
• For example take the song by Ludacris “Fantasy” All he is talking
about are places he can take his many women and have sex with
them.

• The answer is Everyone. The world we live into today
wouldn’t survive if everybody stopped buying things
they felt they want or deserve.
• Now you have racist ideology of materialistic views
displayed through gangsta rap.
• They all have not just one Lamborghini but two. Along
with the biggest house imaginable and they are
wearing more money around their necks than most
people make in their life times.
• All this is said to be due to their repression and there
need for objects that show their stature.
“RAP UP”
“Gangsta is a dream in which what we may not say is enacted in
public. The pleasures that come from doing any forbidden thing
are in this case put to work in support of a racist ideology.”
