Audio Conferencing - Quick Start Guide
Audio conferencing allows you to have an enhanced telephone call with up to 120 participants
from around the world with no prior reservation, at any time of day and night. To start your
first conference call, follow these 5 steps:
5 Steps to complete your first audio conference
1. Dial the conference phone number
Dial the conferencing phone number provided in your account dashboard or service emails.
2. Put in the participant & moderator passcodes
Put in the participant passcode provided. The system will prompt you to press * in order to
login as a host. Next, input your moderator code followed by #.
3. Invite your participants
Invite your participants by sending them the phone number and participant code. They will dial
into the conference and dial the participant code when prompted.
4. Ending your conference call
When you are finished, you simply hang up the phone.
5. Getting help with your conference
When dialed in, you can press *0 at any point to get help with your live conference.

Important Information:
1. Participants in the conference will hear music until the moderator calls in and starts the
conference with the moderator procedure described above.
2. For security purposes, as soon as the moderator hangs up the phone, the entire
conference call will end.
3. Please keep the moderator passcode secure and confidential at all times. Only give
participant passcode to interested parties.
4. The moderator and participants have access to touch-tone commands to help manage
the audio conference. Please refer to list of commands below.
5. The moderator can manage his conference call online via the moderator tool from the
dashboard login. Please go to http://www.sky-conferencing.com and click on “Account
Login” to start. Please see the tutorials page for further assistance.
6. Live technical support for your audio conference is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a
week. Simply press *0 on your phone when you have logged into the conference.
7. The audio conferencing service is billed per minute, per person.
8. Conference recordings are billed as one extra participant line in conference. Once
conference is complete, the download will be available for free for 10 days, after which a

daily fee will be accessed. Please make sure to delete recording file if no longer needed
or daily fee will be assessed after the 10 day period.
9. International Toll Free service is also available. To activate, please call our customer
service department. A new set of codes will be created for you.

Listed below are the standard account features that come with every audio conferencing
account. To make changes, please login to your account dashboard by visiting
http://www.sky-conferencing.com and clicking on “Account Login” to start.
Name Record
When Yes is selected for the Name Record preference, the system will prompt the host
and participants to record their name prior to entering the meeting. This preference
enables name playback and roster playback to the host. When Name has been selected
as an Entry or Exit Option, the Name Record feature provides an automated playback of
participant names as they enter and exit the meeting.
Entry Options
The host can select Tones, Name, or None. When Tones is selected, single and double
tones will sound to indicate a participant has entered or exited the meeting. If the Name
Record preference has been enabled, Name may be selected as an Entry and Exit Option
to provide an automated playback of participant names as they enter and exit the
meeting. None may be selected if audible entry and exit activity is not desired. Entry and
Exit Options must be confirmed prior to the start of the meeting.
Exit Options
The host can select Tones, Name, or None. When Tones is selected, single and double
tones will sound to indicate a participant has entered or exited the meeting. If the Name

Conference Continuation
When No is selected, the meeting will end when the host's line disconnects from the
meeting. When Yes is selected, the meeting will continue after the host's line has
disconnected from the meeting.

Conference Quickstart
When Yes is selected, the participants are allowed to join together and begin the
meeting prior to the arrival of the host. When No is selected, participants are placed on
music hold and will not be placed into the conference until the host has joined. This
feature is made available on special request.

Telephone Star Commands
Audio conferencing gives you access to enhanced services via telephone star commands
listed below. All commands are moderator only, unless otherwise noted with a p.
*0 – Operator Help: Request an operator for technical assistance with your call p
#1 – Dial Out: Allows you to call out to a participant and add them to your conference call
- Dial area code and phone number followed by #
- Follow instructions to complete call
Once participant is reached, you can:
- Press *1 to join participant into conference
- Press *2 to join participant into conference and call another line
- Press *3 to disconnect the dial out line
- Press *4 to disconnect the dial out line and call another line
*2 – Start/Stop Recording: Begin or end a recording of a live conference
- Press 1 to confirm
- System will ask you to wait while starting the recording
- To end recording, press *2
*5 - Lecture Mode: Mute all lines except the host
- To unmute all lines, press #5
*6 – Mute: Mute an individual line p
- To umute line, press #6
*7 - Lock Conference: Locks the audio conference preventing anyone else from joining in
- To unlock conference call, press #7
*8 – Participant Count: Lists the number of participants currently in the conference p
