The demarcating difference
between Al-Islam and other religion is in the AQEEDAH (Belief or doctrines – in the intellect), the categorical different separating “TAUHEED” with “SHIRK ”. In the acts of religious devotions and practices, there are bound to be certain similarities in some of the outward forms practiced in Islam with that found in other religions. This is unavoidable. Certain outward practices
adopted by those who uphold TAUHEED and those MUSHREEK, may only ‘seemed’ to be similar, but when we scrutinize with ‘justice’(‘ADL) and knowledge (‘ILM), indeed they are in reality totally and fundamentally different. the SEERAH of our Prophet s.a.a.w. We can discern that not every practices done by the Quraysh before Islam were totally discarded, nor certain symbols or relics destroyed. The first 13 years, our Prophet’s DA’WAH is to infuse TAUHEED to removed SHIRK in peoples AQEEDAH , through knowledge, wisdom and beautiful (fair) exhortations.
