TADZKIRAH

MOST COMPASSIONATE,
MOST MERCIFUL.

“And who is better in speech than one who invites to
Allah and does righteousness and says, "Indeed, I am
of the Muslims.”
And not equal are the good deed and the bad. Repel
[evil] by that [deed] which is better; and thereupon
the one whom between you and him is enmity [will
become] as though he was a devoted friend.”
(Qur’an: Fussilat: 41: 33-34)

“This (UMMATUKUM) community of yours is one
community (UMMATAN WAHIDAH) , and I am your
Lord; so hold Me alone in fear (FAT-TAQUUN). But
people later cut up their religion into bits, each
group rejoicing in what they have. So leave them
immersed in their heedlessness till an appointed
time.”
(Qur’an: Mu’minun: 23: 52-54)

TADZKIRAH

“O Prophet! Truly We have sent thee as a Witness (SHAAHIDAH), a
Bearer of Glad Tidings (MUBAS-SHIRAH), and a Warner (NADZEERAH)―
And as one who invites to Allah's (Grace) by His leave (DAA-’IYAN
ILALLAAH) , and as a Lamp spreading Light (SIRAAJAN MUNEERAH).”
(Qur’an: an-Nahlu: 16: 45-46)

TADZKIRAH

“Invite (all) to the way of thy Lord with wisdom (BIL-HIKMAH)
and beautiful preaching (MAU-’IZAH-HASANAH); and argue
with them in ways that are best and most gracious ( JAADILHUM-BIL-LATI -HIYA AHSAN): for thy Lord knows, best who
have strayed from His Path, and who receive guidance. “
(Qur’an: an-Nahlu: 16: 125)

TADZKIRAH

“O Mankind! We created you all from a male and a
female, and made you into nations and tribes so
that you may know one another (LITA-’AA-RAFUU). Verily the noblest of you in the sight of Allah
is the most (TAQWA) God-fearing of you. Surely
Allah is All-Knowing, All-Aware.“
(Qur’an: Hujurat: 49: 13)

TADZKIRAH

”Let there be no compulsion in religion. Truth stands out clear
from Error; whoever rejects Evil and believes in Allah hath
grasped the most trustworthy hand-hold, that never breaks.
And Allah hears and knows all things.”
(Qur’an: Baqarah: 2: 256)
)

TADZKIRAH

” If it had been the Lord's Will they would all have believed all
who are on earth! Wilt thou then compel mankind against their
will to believe?”
(Qur’an: Yunus: 10: 99)

)

TADZKIRAH

“And thus have We willed you to be a community of the
middle way (UMMATAN WASOTAN) [i.e. justly balanced], so
that [with your lives] you might bear witness to the truth
before all mankind (SHUHADAA-A - ‘ALAN-NAAS) , and the
Messenger as a witness over you.“
(Qur’an: al- Baqarah: 2:143)
)

TADZKIRAH

“And strive (WA-JAA-HADU) in His cause as ye ought
to strive, (with sincerity and under discipline). He has
chosen you, and has imposed no difficulties on you in
religion; it is the (MILLAT) creed of your father
Abraham. It is He Who has named you Muslims, both
before and in this (Revelation); that the Messenger
(SHAHEEDAN) may be a witness for you, and ye be
witnesses for mankind! (SHUHADAA-A- ‘ALANNAAS).“
(Qur’an: al- Hajj: 22:78)
)

TADZKIRAH

“O YOU who have attained to faith! Be helpers [in the cause
of Allah] - even as Jesus, the son of Mary, said unto the
white-garbed ones, "Who will be my helpers in Allah's
cause?" - whereupon the white-garbed [disciples] replied,
"We shall be [thy] helpers [in the cause] of Allah!”
(Qur’an: Saff: 61: 14)
)

TADZKIRAH

“O you who have believed, [ITTAQILLAAH – i.e. be conscious
of and] fear Allah as He should be feared (HAQQA) and do
not die except as Muslims [MUSLIMUUN-in submission to
Him].”
(Qur’an: Aali’Imran: 3: 102)
)

TADZKIRAH

“And hold firmly to (HAB-LILLAAH) the rope of Allah all
together and do not become divided (LAA-TAFAR-ROQUU).”

)

TADZKIRAH

“(WADZ-KURU) And remember the (NI’MATALLAAH)
favours of Allah upon you - when you were enemies and
He brought your hearts together and you became, by His
favour, brothers (IKHWAANA).”
)

TADZKIRAH

“And you were on the edge of a pit of the Fire, and He
(Allah) saved you from it.”

)

TADZKIRAH

“Thus does Allah make clear to you His verses that you
may be guided (TAH-TA-DUUN).”

)

TADZKIRAH

“And let there be [arising] from you a nation (YAD-’UU-NA)
inviting to [all that is] good (KHAYR), enjoining what is right
(AMRU-BIL-MA’RUF) and forbidding what is wrong (NAHYU-’ANIL-MUNKAR), and those will be the successful (MUFLIHUUN).”
)


TADZKIRAH

“And do not be like the ones who became divided (TAFAR-ROQUU)
and differed (WAKH-TA-LAFUU) after the clear proofs had come to
them. And those will have a great punishment (‘AZAA-BUN-’AZEEM).”

)

TADZKIRAH

“Believers, why do you profess that which you do not practise? It is
most loathsome in the sight of Allah that you should profess what
you do not practise. Allah indeed loves those who fight in His Way as
though they are a solid wall cemented with molten lead .”
(Qur’an: Saff: 61: 2-4)
)

“he knew it, had cognition of it, to discern, became acquainted
with it, perceiving a thing by reflection and by consideration of
the effect, to acknowledge a part, the making to know,
fragrant, to inform oneself, learn/discover, seek/desire
knowledge, benefaction/goodness etc.”

TADZKIRAH

“Surely the believers are none but brothers (IKHWATUN) unto
one another, so (Asw-LIHUU) set things right between your
brothers, and have fear of Allah (TAQWA) that you may be
shown mercy (TURHAMUUN).”
(Qur’an: Hujurat: 49: 10)
)

TADZKIRAH

“ He (Allah) it is Who strengthened you with His help and with
the believers and (AL-LAFA QULUU-BIHIM) joined their hearts.
Had you given away all the riches of the earth you could not
have joined their hearts, but it is Allah Who joined their
hearts. Indeed He is All-Mighty. All-Wise.”
(Qur’an: Anfaal: 8: 62-63)

TADZKIRAH

“To take care of, nourish, bring up for another,
be guardian of, be responsible for, entrust, stand
security or surety, etc.”

TADZKIRAH

“Surely those who believed and migrated and strove hard in
the way of Allah with their possessions and their lives, and
those that sheltered and helped them - they alone are the true
allies (AWLIYA’) of one another.”
(Qur’an: Anfaal: : 8: 72)
)

TADZKIRAH

“The believing men and believing women are AWLIYA
(allies, guardians, protectors) of one another. They enjoin
MA’RUF (what is right) and forbid MUNKAR (what is wrong)
and establish SWOLAH (prayer) and give ZAKAH (disburse
wealth to all those deserving) and obey Allah and His
Messenger. Those - Allah will have mercy upon them.
Indeed, Allah is Exalted in Might and Wise.”
(Qur’an: Taubah : 9: 71)

TADZKIRAH

“A believer to other believers are likened to (components in) a building,
they (support) strengthen one another ( he then gestured by closing
together fingers on his hand).”
( Hadith agreed upon by Bukhary and Muslim )

TADZKIRAH

“Whoever is not concern regarding the affairs of the Muslims, is
not from amongst them.”
( Hadith reported by Abu Dawud)

)

TADZKIRAH

“Allah will always help a person who is always helping his brothers .”
( Hadith reported by Ahmad)

)

TADZKIRAH

“(AL-MU’MIN) The believer is (like a) mirror (MIR-’A) to other believers.
Whenever he sees (in the other believers) any defects, he will
AS-LAHA (help to correct, restore, make good , reform, etc.) them.”
( Hadith reported by Ahmad)

)

TADZKIRAH

“Mutual understanding; mutual agreement;
concurrence; accord; comprehension; perception;
grasp; realization; communicate; etc. ”

)

TADZKIRAH

“Ask them: 'Are there among ones whom you associate
with Allah in His divinity those who can guide to the truth?
Say: 'It is Allah alone Who guides to the truth.'
Then, who is more worthy to be followed - He Who guides
to the truth, or he who cannot find the right way unless
others guide him to it?
What is wrong with you? How ill do you judge!
Most of them only follow conjectures; and surely conjecture
can be no substitute for truth. Allah is well aware of
whatever they do.”
(Qur’an: Yunus: 10: 35-36)
)

TADZKIRAH

“O Ye who believe! Obey Allah and obey the Messenger and
those charged with authority from among you ( WAA-ULIL-’AMRI
MIN-KUM).”
(Qur’an: An-Nisa’ : 4: 59)

)

TADZKIRAH

“If ye differ in anything among yourselves, refer it to Allah and His
Messenger * if ye do believe in Allah and the Last Day: that is
best, and most suitable for final determination.”
(Qur’an: An-Nisa’: 4: 59)

)

TADZKIRAH

“If anyone contends with the Messenger even after guidance has
been plainly conveyed to him, and follows a path other than that
becoming to men to Faith, We shall leave him in the path he has
chosen, and land him in Hell, what an evil refuge.”
(Qur’an: An-Nisa’: 4: 115)
)

TADZKIRAH

MOST COMPASSIONATE,
MOST MERCIFUL.

“And those who (JAAHADU) strive in Our (cause),- We
will certainly guide them to our Paths (SUBUULANA) :
For verily Allah is with those who do right. ”
(Qur’an: Ahnkabut: 29: 69)

TADZKIRAH

COMPONENTS

A ROPE usually has many components, sub-components etc. Each, whether
strands or yarns or fibers etc. are woven (bound) into and add strength to the
ROPE, as also to be themselves strengthened by others if they are weak.
As long these are attached to and linked to the source of which the ROPE is
originally secured to, they are rightly regarded as a part of the ROPE.
Thus it is important that every component know its own worth, its function and
its place. Beware of frays, and those who seek to unravel the ROPE (bond).

COMPONENTS

As long as these components are kept united, the strength of the ROPE is
increased and assured. Whereas when each component function individually,
they can never hope to sustain the load originally supported by the ROPE.
Also when one is already clinging to the only ROPE which one is already certain
to be anchored to a safe support, cling on to it. Do not be easily tempted to grab
on to other dubious roots or vines of unknown (doubtful) connection, even
though they may look better, stronger, newer etc. than your ROPE.

“And be not like a woman who breaks into untwisted
strands the yarn which she has spun, after it has become
strong. Nor take your oaths to practise deception
between yourselves, lest one party should be more
numerous than another: for Allah will test you by this;
and on the Day of Judgment He will certainly make clear
to you (the truth of) that wherein ye disagree.”
(Qur’an: An-Nahlu: 16: 92)

“And obey Allah and His Messenger; and do not fall into
disputes, lest ye lose heart and your power depart; and be
patient and persevering: for Allah is with those who
patiently persevere.”
(Qur’an: Anfal: 8: 46)

TADZKIRAH

“All who obey Allah and the Messenger are in the
company of those on whom is the Grace of Allah― of
the Prophets (who teach) the sincere (lovers of Truth),
the witnesses (who testify), and the Righteous (who
do good): ah! How a beautiful fellowship! –(RAFEEQA)
Such is the Bounty from Allah: and sufficient is it
that Allah knows all.”
(Qur’an: an-Nisa: 4: 69-70)

TADZKIRAH

MOST COMPASSIONATE,
MOST MERCIFUL.

“O you who have believed, (ISwBIRU) persevere and (SwOBIRU)
endure and (ROBITwUU) remain stationed (strengthening one
another) and (be conscious of and) fear Allah (WAT-TAQULLAAH)
that you may be successful (TUF-LIHUUN).”
(Qur’an: Aali ‘Imran: 3: 200)
)

“O Allah! Certainly You know what is in these hearts (souls)
We who are gathered out of our love towards You”

“Make firm O Allah, in our strength (and fortification), and
preserve for us our affection, guide us upon the Righteous path “

“Fill these hearts (souls) with Your Light that never flickers
nor extinguish, and expand (make ease) our task with
overflowing faith (IIMAN) in You,“

TADZKIRAH

“And beautify in us with the placing our trust ( TAWAKKUL) in You,
and (make us live and) guide us with knowledge (gnosis) of You.”

TADZKIRAH

“And cause us to die as true Witness (as martyrs in Your Cause).
Verily, You are the best Protector, and the best Helper”

)


TADZKIRAH

“O Allah! Grant us our request … and salutations and the blessings
of Allah we ask, with peace, upon our Master Muhammad and
upon his household and companions”

)
