4. We will provide standard rooms at three star hotels or similar category hotel in Kathmandu and Pokhara, in-
cluding breakfast on twin sharing basis. Hotels have twin or double beds available and you will need to in-
form us if you need double or twin-bedded room in advance.
Generally in Tour itineraries, breakfast is included. Lunch and Dinner will not be included in your cost. You are
free to have your lunch and dinner wherever you like and Kathmandu and Pokhara offer a good choice of res-
taurants with various menus. Restaurants are generally clean and offer good service. By the order hotel can
also provide lunch and dinner. While Chitwan you will provided breakfast, Lunch and dinner in hotel and the
cost is included in your tour packages.
Transportation while on tour is provided by private vehicles with AC, using cars, jeeps, Landcruisers, mini bus-
es, and coaches depending upon the group size. Driving along the winding mountain roads can be slow. Gen-
erally the driving speed limit in Nepal is 40 to 60 km/hour.
Baggage that you have packed for your trip will be carried on the vehicle or carrier taking you to your desti-
nation. Carry your essential items in a day pack (camera, your money bag, passport, cell phone, goggles, etc).
If you are going to any restricted places, you should have permits with you. Your guide will inform you if
there is anything in particular that you need to bring.
In this tour itinerary, you are provided with an English speaking guide and driver. If the group size is big,
transportation helpers will accompany the tour as well and we can provide required Numbers of Guide. The
guide is the person who you should consult with for all of your problems, queries, suggestions. Guides are
generally licensed by the Tourism Board and have a good level of English. They come with good knowledge of
history, background information about places and other information that you will need. Most of the Drivers
in Nepal speak more limited English and the helpers may not speak English at all.
It is best to bring a mixture of cash and credit card in major currencies. In Nepal, you will only be able to ex-
change Nepalese Rupees back into hard currency on production of the original receipt of exchange. Ensure
you have a mixture of large and small denominations. Everyone’s spending nature is different, but as a tour
guide we suggest US $ 8 - 10 per meal in Kathmandu and Pokhara (if you drink/smoke, this might be more).
Shopping is difficult to predict. You can easily find Money changers near your hotel in Kathmandu and Pokha-
ra. You can find the money exchange counters near your hotel in Kathmandu. If you pay by your credit card
4% of bank charge is added in your total amount.
Travel insurance is not included in the trip price. It is essential that you take out comprehensive travel insur-
ance prior to your trip. Your travel insurance must provide cover against personal accident, medical expens-
es, emergency evacuation and repatriation (including helicopter evacuation) and personal liability. We also
recommend that it covers cancellation, curtailment, loss of luggage and personal effects.
