Responsible to fulfil the inspection activity of QA
- Supervise and develop QA team to perform the inspections and monitoring to
maintain company quality system (HACCP, ISO 22000:2005, ISO 9001:2015 and
5S). Support QA Manager to ensure the internal validated procedures
implemented appropriately. Evaluate, analyse and propose improvements for
quality system in line with company objectives
- Support in collecting, analysing data based on Quality standards for operational
reports of QC department;
Traceability, Withdrawal, Crisis & Incident Management:
- Monitor the implementation of the traceability process warehouses and third
party warehouses
- Regularly conduct traceability test and mock recall, training/coaching for
warehouse keeper/supervisor to improve traceability result.
Complaint Handling (Trade complaint):
- Make decisions on acceptability or not, of quality issues arising
- Investigate and make corrective/preventive action for quality problems at DCs
and customer sites; co-ordinate with the store for improvement if the problem is
factory origin.
- Responsible for communicating with customers on quality-related matters
- Be in charge of inspecting products if there is any risk of product security and
product quality according to McDonald’s standard (Quality Inspection Process),
HACCP
- Coordinate with operations, transport staffs and other the relevant people (inside
or outside of QA department) to complete the inspection process

Quality Training and Operation
- Provide guidelines and training on good warehouse practices (GWP), pest
control, traceability, handling products complaints to all concerned parties (ie.
cooler technician, delivery mans, distributors, HOD DC, HOD water shops, sales,
transporters, consumers)
- Participate in maintaining quality control/assurance in daily operations.
- Work with external consultant firms for Environment Health Safety compliance.
- Generate report on the implementation of quality objectives of the company to
the board of directors.
- Organize and supervise the internal quality assessment and corrective action
tracking of the internal quality assessment.
- Establish and maintain a sanitary environment, labor safety and 5S – GMP ,
HACCP or BRC/IoP implementation knowledge preferable.
- Carry out correctly his/her responsibility mentioned in relevant SOP/Ws or
HACCP
- Closely work with local quarantine officers, Quatest III, Vina Control, Regional
Animal Health Office No.6 for sample testing and monitor testing process to do
action accordingly if there are any issues with testing result.
- Do QIP report (Quality Inspection Process) for all shipments from overseas
suppliers
- Coordinate with QA team, Transport team, Warehouse team to ensure that all
products are released from DC only when Heath Certificate and Quality Certificate
are available and must be under good quality and good appearance as well
- Commit to self-development and enrichment of the knowledge and skills by
planning and attending agreed training courses
- Orientation programme introduces a new staff to the organisation's culture and
highlights the company's vision and its goals and quality of product as well
- Takes responsibility for holding short-term training courses for staff
Continuous Improvement and root cause analysis:
- Ensure that monitoring of key Supply Chain-Quality parameters KPI in order to
drive structured root cause analysis and continuous improvement in the quest for
zero defect, lead to Supply Chain Management Review of Quality (MRQ) and
Business Review of Quality (BRQ).
- Work with McDonald’s QA and McD Supply Chain (VN) to continuously improve
processes to ensure the quality of the product in McD food processing at Vietnam.
- Send claim report to customer, oversea and local suppliers, HAVI logistics
(Singapore) for non-conforming products
- Plan for expired product disposal, inform to third party to find the most effective
methods to proceed disposal depending on type of product, and supervise pre-
processing and co- processing as well that ensure that branded identity is
protected
- Work with suppliers for these products nonconformity or damaged when the
shipments to Distribution Centre

- Report any issue related to food safety and quality in supply chain and propose
actions to improve the quality assurance system in supply chain.
