CIMNE has a research group that develops wireless sensor networks, RFID, GIS, artificial intelligence, and decision support systems. They integrate these technologies to create monitoring platforms, such as one for tracking wine barrels and another for teleassistance. They apply these platforms across various domains including aeronautics, construction, naval, environmental and healthcare to create customized monitoring and management solutions.
