AMERICA AND MARIJUANA
Some states in America have already legalized the use and
distribution of marijuana for medicinal purposes.
Such as:
• California
• New Jersey
• New Mexico
• Rhode Island
• Oregon
Many states around the world have legalized the
use but with some moderations.
Such as:
• Canada
• Europe
CANADA AND AMERICA TAKE A VOTE
In September Canada took a vote for legalizing
marijuana.
City Councilor Brian Skakun was asked about this
this is his response:
"I think it's about being progressive, I'm not going
to judge someone about whether or not they
smoke pot. I tried it when I was younger and I
turned out OK."
But of course not!!!
In America it's for medical usage only, and it is illegal to
use for any other purpose.
In Europe and Canada they can only sell you 5 grams.
(That's equal to only about sixth of an ounce)

Enrique Peña Nieto
"placing a higher priority on reducing the violence in
Mexico than on using arrests and seizures to block the
flow of drugs to the United States."
Mexico should continue to work with the United States
government against organized crime, it should not
“subordinate to the strategies of other countries.”
"DRUG ENFORCEMENT ADMINISTRATION"
Mexican Navy
• Helps the government by stopping operations of producing and
transferring illegal drugs. Also exposing money that was taken
part of violators and their organizations.
• Drug trafficking are the cause of many violence in the
  U.S
• 87% of arrest are connected to drug abuse.
• Two of the most widely traded drugs and the cause of
the most violence and crime in the U.S are Heroin and
  Marijuana
CANNABIS (MARIJUANA)
• It is available by prescription or recommendation in many places
  including the U.S.
• Mexican Cartels biggest investment is from marijuana trafficking
  in the U.S.
• From those investments, they fund other trades such as illegal
firearms (that are ultimately used to commit murder and
  violence)
WHAT HAS BEEN DONE ABOUT IT?

• Under federal law, it is illegal to possess, use, buy, sell,
or cultivate drugs under the Controlled Substances Act.
• The Controlled Substances Act of 1970 labeled drugs
such as Marijuana and Heroin as illegal.
