GOODWILL INDUSTRIES SUPPORTS ITS
VETERANS AND MILITARY FAMILIES
There are two challenges for Goodwill in its efforts to provide
services, worldwide to Veterans and Military Families.
The first is geographical constraints. Goodwill is not directly
implemented in many countries across the world. This, in turn, limits
the availability of programs to more rural regions of the world.
The second challenge is that each Goodwill is an independent
organization, and is governed by a voluntary board of directors.
When developing programs and services for veterans and military
families, each respective Goodwill organization considers the
distinctive social and economic environment to determine which
services will best allow community members to better support their
families, and build better communities altogether
Goodwill is rare, in that it truly does not discriminate for color, sex, or
race. It’s only deterrent is lack of funding. Working as a community,
together, only success can be accomplished.
