However, learning about digital accessibility can be daunting when faced with an array of legal, technical and medical guidance. In this session we will: present the legal, moral and commercial case for ensuring websites, apps and documents are accessible to all; demonstrate how people with disabilities use assistive technology or customise their experience in order to access digital products and services; introduce the principles of digital accessibility and the international standards used to assess if content will be accessible to all users. If you are new to the field of digital accessibility, we recommend you attend this course to familiarise yourself with these general principles first. This course can also act as an introduction to accessibility for people considering studying for the IAAP CPACC qualification.
