- At Acquia, we love supporting efforts that further Drupal initiatives. This is one of the reasons we’re partnered with Harvard. A portion of all sales will be contributed back to the OpenScholar team at Harvard to support the distribution and new features that will be deployed back to you and the Drupal community. Group funded sprints will also contribute to these goals, reduce costs, and develop more features that are in high demand. We’ve already come across several universities who are interested. Again, the goal is to maintain core Drupal philosophies through collaboration and contribution. However, If core issues do arise, we’re able to work closely with the OpenScholar team to trouble shoot, fix, and contribute patches. Likewise, in the spirit of collaboration, we aim to aggregate best practices to help universities deploy OpenScholar more effectively.
