December 8th, 2012
Action India mobilized more than 1400
adolescent girls and boys of the communities in
Delhi to listen to speakers Kamla Bhasin and
Rashmi Singh and view an exhibition of oil painting
on the Girl Child by artist Anjali Sinha.

Sex Ratio across NCT Delhi
• Study in North West Delhi– Rising Sons Setting Daughters - a case for public
advocacy
• National Seminars organized in collaboration with NMML in 2004 and 2005 –
The New Paradigm of development and sex selection
• Stop Sex Selection , Save the Girl Child – Beti Utsav celebrating the birth of
daughters and honouring the mothers of girls at the community level.
• Monitoring the PCPNDT through the AA East district
• Appointed member of State Supervisory Body (NCT Delhi)
