- What skills are needed by today’s modern learner, familiar with a world of gadgets and pervasive technology? Is it right to limit their access to technology when they come into a learning space? Or should we be equipping them with the skills to assess, judge and use appropriately, the technology that is all around them. If they are to expected to use social networking, FaceBook, Twitter in the workplace, wearable technologies in some work places, mobile phones in some work places… should not the learning space help to equip them with these skills through using them.
