1. ****Poop Deck****
13th November 2017
Dear Members,
The Club 100 draw was not won this week. The Jackpot of £100 is frozen for the moment. Just a
reminder that you have to be in the Bar at 9:00pm on a Friday to be in with a chance of winning.
We also held a Firework Night debrief (A requirement from Tendering District Council) on Friday
night. A lot was learned, so next year will be bigger and better! Thank you to everyone who sent in
comments.
Members Meeting
The members meeting on Saturday was attended by around 60 people. Thank you to everyone who
came along to hear the latest update and forecast for the Club. Following comments, the Main
Committee will have a discussion on Thursday evening, particularly with regard to membership
subscription rates. The final slide pack will be circulated along with the results of the membership
questionnaire and the call for 2018 subscriptions.
As a result of the questionnaire a number of people volunteered to help with the refurbishment in
January. We now need a firm commitment on what dates people are available and what skills you
have. Rick is in charge of work parties.
Boatyard Fees
All boatyard fee invoices have been sent out for winter storage. If you have not paid yet,
we respectfully request payment asap as payments are now overdue. There are still spaces
left in the yard so please book now if you would like to store your boat this winter.
