I have over 20 years of cross functional experience out of which more than a decade in BTB
& BTC, 3 & 4PL Logistics and Supply Chain expertise, inclusive of FMCG, Cold Chain, Retail
and Cross Border Warehousing and Distribution as well as an advance knowledge of
inventory handling and Inventory Management systems (ERP, SAP, SYSPRO & ORACLE).
My Strategic experience includes but are not limit to Operation & business planning, Setting
Strategies and achieving targets, manage client expectations, performance management,
Finance and Marketing & Communications within a highly diverse fast changing business
environment. I have worked on a variety of Supply chain start-up projects to accomplish the
organizational goals, whether it be the identification and development of the supply chain
strategy or the identification of potential projects to deliver changes and improvements to the
Supply Chain, or to the development of suppliers within a ¾ PL solution, positioning, set up
plan, network development, corporate strategy, or new Supply Chain product-segment
strategy within a Supply Chain and Operational backdrop. This includes setting up BTB/BTC
solutions for client either within a 3/4PL environment of Client specific model.
Additionally, I have augmented my experience through my diversified projects within Supply
Chain across Warehousing (Bonded and Free Goods), FMCG, Retail, and Manufacturing or
Production, below are the few highlights of recent past;
ACC - Investigated and then lead the SCM Project Team at Arabian Cement Company for the
last year to minimise the 170 Million Saudi Riyals Stock at hand to adhere to a minimum
stock level procedure for total Supply Chain Operation (Procurement, warehousing and
distribution, Critical Stock, Shut down spares as well as implementing a Min / Max System of
replenishment). Reduce Stock on hand by 30 Million Saudi Riyals within 6 months with an
extrapolated impact of another 60 Million Riyal reduction over the next 12 months.
ACC - Rewrote the ACC (Arabian Cement Company) SCM Policy and Procedures according to
ISO 14001 and Lean-methodology standards – approved and implemented July 2016.
ACC - Introduced the “First-in-first-out” principle with internal audits at the ACC
Warehousing / SCM facility at the ACC- Plant in Rabigh(KSA).
ACC - Introduced and implemented the Initiator-to-End-User responsibility and
accountability process with major successes throughout the PR / PO process at the ACC SC
Department (shortened the lead time recovery period for imports and local acquisition by
implementing a procedure to follow from PO to PR to end user.)
HIWPT (ACWA POWER) – As Operations Director I dissected the Warehousing and
distribution facility and modus operandi and initiated a tight stock control system linked to
the financial system of the Institute to ensure compliance to financial audit reports –
brought stock order lead times down by a third, minimized and controlled suppliers by two
thirds and replaced the international courier with DHL for better rates and services for cross
border imports.
HIWPT (ACWA POWER)– Reduced the fleet of vehicles with half and implemented log books,
driver defensive training as well as adhering to in-time servicing of all vehicles.
RTT Cross Border - Develop the strategy and execution plan and implement for all Clothing
and Retail, normal retail and FMCG Clients of RTT (Namibia, Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe,
Mozambique, Swaziland and Lesotho – Road freight – Mauritius, Nigeria, Lagos and
Cameroon Air and Sea freight).
RTT Cross Border – Conceptualise and implement Joint Venture for all Cross Border airfreight
with DHL Africa (BTB & BTC).

RTT Cross Border - Successfully managed multiple application vehicle projects based on
Isuzu chassis, including refrigerated trucks, armoured units, trailer bodies, delivery vans &
courier vans to customer requirements (BTC).
RTT Cross Border - Led the start-up of RTT- Cross Border Division , with main focus on
complete 2/3 and 4PL solutions including warehousing and final mile distribution in all
SADEC countries combined with backup network development for all Supply Chain services
rendered (if road freight failed have a backup solution with either air of sea freight at hand).
RTT Cross Border - Set up and manage a fully integrated HSSE Management System in hand
with the Supply Chain Management system(warehousing & Distribution)
RTT Cross Border - Continuous Route Optimization to African Countries for RTT-Style’s
Clients – Common Customs Countries & Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Angola, Zambia .
RTT Cross Border – Achieving with 35% profit margin year on year the total self-sufficiency &
above all profitable cost centre that was the Cross Border Department in RTT-Style.
RTT Cross Border - Ensuring that all stock holding (warehousing) prior to dispatching across
International Borders were up to Customs specifications and facilitating Customs inspections
in multiple bonded and free warehouse locations inside & outside South Africa – 100%
ULTIMATE SA CUSTOMS REWARD & RECOGNITION AWARD received for 2010, 2011, 2012 & 2013!
RTT Cross Border – 3PL Solution for Woolworths Cold Chain achieved with 20% cost
reduction for Client on first load Cape Town to Maputo (Mozambique) with a lead time cut
of 7 days!
RTT Cross Border – 3PL Solution Retail (Clothing and Apparel) achieved with 35% cost
reduction for Client on first Bonded road freight shipment to Lusaka (Zambia) with a lead
time cut of 17 days!
RTT Cross Border – I was the first to achieve multi-load (Bonded and free) combined Retail
(Clothing & Apparel) for Clients Truworths, The Foschini Group (TFG) & Woolworths
together to both Mozambique and Zambia continuously for 2012 & 2013.
RTT / HRP - Headed all Special Projects in Warehousing (3PL), Operations and New Business
and ensured that a “bundled” 3PL solution was presented to optimize the service rendered to
the Client 2008 to 2013.
Orley Foods - Consultant accountable for all Production, HSSE activities, Warehousing &
Distribution development – 250 Production staff, 140 Warehousing Staff, 16 Own drivers,
2 x off-site warehouses; Multiple Local & International 3rd Party Logistics & Transporters.
