AlexanderTheGreat will host an evening radio show from 6-8pm on BBC Radio 1xtra playing genres like hip hop, rap, grime, R&B, soul, dancehall, reggae and trap. The show will include the latest news and stories from the web along with playing 3 songs then discussing more stories or new tracks. The target audience is 15-25 year olds interested in these music genres who will be able to listen live through digital radio or online. Listeners can also access past episodes online or download the show after the initial broadcast.

show and I will entertain my audience by providing good ‘Urban Music’. Beside
this, I will make sure I talk to my audience and update them with the latest stories
that occur within the web.

• AlexanderTheGreat Radio Show: Evening show will be hosted around 6:00pm. The
show will last for 2 hours meaning it will end at 8:00pm
• I feel that this is a good time for me to gain a good amount of listeners for my
show. Most people will be coming back from school or work and will be chilling at
home listening to my show.
• Within my show, I'll start off with a station jingle and announcement of the
presenter. I’ll talk about the latest stories that's circling around the web and then
I’ll play the song. I’ll play 3 songs then I’ll talk about stories or the latest hottest
tracks. This will be current throughout my show.

4. Target Audience
• My target audience will be aimed at people aged 15-25 consisting of both male
and females. The primary audience is aimed at people who are genre lovers. These
type of people are in some sort of education. There’s lots of genre of music that’s
mainly towards this target audience in my show. The secondary audience will be
people aged 15-35 as they are genres that I will feature that’s more towards older
audiences. The schedule is also suitable for my audience as its near enough early
evening - 6:00pm. So my audience will be chilling at home listening to my radio
show if they are bored.

• For my live broadcast show it will be accessible through a variety of formats. You
will be able to listen to my show live through digital radio and you will be able to
access my radio show live on the internet through devices such as mobile phones,
computers etc.
