2. How to… This is a guide for all you people who have ever wanted to build a sacred tomb. This requires a few thing such as 1. A dead important figure in your culture. 2. Various building equipment. 3. Lots of patience. Took a few hundred years for the Ming.
3. The Ming dynasty made a proud point with almost anything they did. Even with their dead. In 1409 the Ming started building 13 tombs for their emperors. They built these sacred tombs at the end of the Sacred Way and along the way they built up an archway. This archway is on the south side of the Sacred Way. The whole way is decorated with stone animals, clouds, and patterns making it an important historical monument. Information
4. How to get started. 1. Find a suitable place for your sacred monument. It should be a place of great importance to your culture. 2. See how the monument fits with your culture and religion. 3. If your making a sacred tomb make sure you have someone important to bury. 4. Make a proud entrance way to the site of the soon to be monument.
5. Instructions [pg.2] 5. Start digging out a pretty good size hole in the ground. This should be big enough for the bottom part of the tomb. 6. Fill the bottom with concrete or a slab of stone to make a floor sturdy enough to hold the casket(s). 7. Start chiseling at the dirt walls and make a wall of your choice. (out of stone ,concrete ,or another medium of your choice). 8. After doing this and adding some perfections lower the casket or caskets into the tomb since this will be hard to do later.
6. Instructions [pg.3] 9. After lowering the casket into a suitable position start building the roof of the tomb. An arch or dome is a very good choice for this. 10. Decorate the tomb , the archway (if you chose to add this) and the entrance path in you choice of style. 11. Spread the name of your monumental sacred tomb so that people start to visit.
