1. How to Use Hootsuite
to Broadcast a Single
Message to Multiple
Social Networks

2. Hootsuite is a social media
management system

3. Open your browser

4. Go www.hootsuite.com

5. Welcome to Hootsuite log-
in page

6. Click Sign Up

7. You have options for your
plan

8. For now, let’s start with free
plan

9. Click Get Started Now

10. You can sign up using your
social media account

11. Or by your email address

12. Enter your Name

13. Enter your Email

14. Create a Password

15. Take note rules for creating
password

16. You can change your
profile picture

17. Click Create My Free
Account

18. For free account, connect
up to 3 social profiles

19. Click one of the icons to
start

20. Or click Go to Dashboard

21. A welcome message from
Hootsuite

22. Click I want to explore on
my own

24. Point your mouse to your
profile picture

25. Click your name to share your
social media accounts

26. Click Add a social network

27. You can add from the list of
social networks

28. If you have Twitter, click
Connect with Twitter

30. Enter your Twitter Username
or email

31. Enter your Password

32. Click Authorize app

33. Your Twitter account has
been added

34. You will also see it in the
upper left panel

other social network

36. Let’s say you want to add
your Instagram account

Instagram

41. Hootsuite asks for access
authorization

43. You can skip this process
and do it later

left panel

46. Add other account, let’s
say Facebook

47. Click Connect with Facebook

48. Enter your Email

49. Enter your Password

access your FB account

profiles to be added

Publisher

68. Hover the mouse on the list
of accounts

69. Click the pin to select account

70. Let’s send to all accounts

71. Write your message on the
space provided

72. Take note the maximum
words per network

73. Attach picture or video for
Instagram

74. Click Upload to attach video

75. Drag your photo to attach
photo

76. Or click choose files to
upload

77. Select the photo

79. Your uploaded photo

80. Click calendar icon to
schedule the message

82. Select the time

83. You could also add link to
your message

85. Tick the box for email
notification

86. Click Schedule

broadcast!

Instagram mobile app

to setup app

90. Enter your mobile number

92. You will receive SMS for
app installation

94. Install app to view your
message

95. You can still edit message
prior to broadcast

change date and time

97. Click the pencil icon to edit
content

98. Click x to delete

99. Now let’s view your message
