Lesson 2 peace and order

  1. 1. Lesson 2: Peace and Order
  2. 2. “Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you.” - 2 Thessalonians 3:16
  3. 3. How can we achieve peace? Let us start within ourselves and understand how to deal with conflicts. Peace is the absence of conflict. We encounter conflicts every single day of our lives. Conflict occurs when our goals are not in line with the goals of others. It occurs when we want something other than what they want.
  4. 4. How can you apply peace with one another? • Relate with others with good intentions • Speak with joy and respect to everyone. • Express sympathy and compassion to people with problems. We are all human beings in one world. Let us realize and accept that people everywhere are the same – that we are all brothers and sisters and that we must desire peace in our hearts and minds. This desire is not far from reality if we write our strengths to maintain world peace. Thus order and security will surely reign in this world.
  5. 5. As we learn more about people, we discover that despite our difference, we experience the same trials, tragedies, and triumph. People of the world hold truthfulness, justice, honesty, and love. In short, we are all alike. If there is peace, there is order and security. A part from the character of United Nations states that “practice tolerance and live together in peace with one another as good neighbors. And unite our strengths to maintain international peace and security”.
