The bussiness man who wanted more (story)

  1. 1. The Bussiness Man Who Wanted More Mr. Alphie Zarriz SMSD
  2. 2. A man build his own bee farm to start his honey business. He took care of bees and earned from selling the honey they produced. He harvested the honeycombs from beehives and kept the extracted golden liquid in jars, which he sold to make money.
  3. 3. When the man’s business grew, he decided to buy more beehives-larger ones. Using mechanical extractors that the man bought, things became easier and faster. These extractors ensures the continuous production of honey all day. The man was very happy with this because he sold more honey. He made more honey! With all his earnings, he hired assistants who made sure that the larger beehives constantly produced honey. His honey jars became bigger and therefore, more expensive. With all the money he had amassed, the man was able to build a bigger farm, buy a bigger house, and aquire more beehived!
  4. 4. The man then decided to grow flowers that would attract more bees to his farm. He hired workers who knew which flowers attracted more bees. Months passed and the flower farm was success. There were more bees in the man’s bee farm. More honey was produced because of this. More jars were sold, and the man became richer and famous because of his booming honey business. People all over the country flocked to his farm to see how honey was made. They even visited the man’s vast, colorful flower farm.
  5. 5. Yet even with his fortune, the business wanted more. He thought he needed more bees in his flower farm. After some time, some of the flowers wilted and some were destroyed by a strong pesticide. They did this for weeks and the man saw that the flowers looked better. He thought that this would surely make the bees happy and that happy bees would make more honey.
  6. 6. The more honey the bees produced, the more money he will have. He was very excited about this. After a year, the man was sad because instead of more honey bees to take care of, their number decreased despite the flowers looking vibrant and healthy. Slowly and steadily, the man’s honey production went down. One by one he had to ley go of his workers at the bee and flower farms. After some time, there were so few bees left to make honey for him, so he had to close down his business.
