  3. 3. Facts and Statistics Take a moment to imagine your pet back home. The cuddly puppy or playful kitten just waiting for you to come back home. Now imagine them sitting in a cage, yearning for love. This is a sad thought, especially for the 6.5 million pets being brought into shelters every year. That’s not all with an average of ¼ of them being euthanized. 4. 4. All About Fostering Although there are many qualifications to foster, they’re all fairly simple. We’ll just name a few. You have to watch them like a hawk! Make sure they don’t have any signs of illness. You also have to make sure you can reach a vet easily. Be prepared to say goodbye to the foster pet, emotionally. Just remember that pet found a forever home because of YOU.
  5. 5. Non-Profits There are many non- profit foster organizations, but none are as notable as Pets of the Homeless which is the only foster care organization in the nation. They believe in feeding and providing care for animals.
  6. 6. BrokenTail Rescue BrokenTail Rescue wants to save animals from euthanasia who still have a chance at life. They also encourage that you please raise awareness towards giving animals a new home.
  7. 7. OPA (Operation Pets Alive) O.P.A is a non-profit organization that find volunteers among a community. O.P.A. also keeps a low euthanizing rate and only uses it as a last resort when an animal is near death.
  8. 8. Here are some posters to help boost awareness about fosters.
  9. 9. A Final Conclusion A Special Thanks We hope that all non-profits mentioned in this presentation help us in the future. We also hope that those organizations stay with us till the end.
